It’s best to perform these in font of a mirror or have someone with you to keep watch of your form. Doing squats the wrong way can potentially damage your knees as well.
This is a simple exercise – simply lie on your back with your arms at your sides and lift your hips off the ground. Your toes should be pointing in front of you. You can increase the difficulty level by placing a medicine ball or a dumbbell on your lap.
SQUATS WITH EXERCISE BALL
You can perform the traditional squat with your feet shoulder-width apart. The difference with this exercise is that you’re using a medicine ball to increase the difficulty. You hold the ball up in front of you as you squat down, then lower it back down as you rise back up. Make sure to inhale as you squat and exhale as you return to standing position.
Place yourself in the push up position, then bring one foot up towards your chest, as though you’re running or climbing. Alternate each leg as quickly as you can. It should feel as though you’re performing a deep lunge.
Improving Your Diet
Aside from performing the right workouts, you need to ensure you’re also consuming the right foods and supplements. It’s essential to stay away from fatty, salty and oily foods. You can replace these with healthier options. You can also substitute the type of oils and salt you use – some of the best options are Himalayan pink salt, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and grapeseed oil.
Improving your diet isn’t just about eliminating foods, but introducing all the right ones. You should be consuming more fresh produce, grains and nuts and less processed packaged foods. The cleaner you eat, the easier it will be to shed the fat cells responsible for your cellulite.
